Although mostly clean, we did notice a few cleanliness issues in the apartment, such as a rotting tupperware and pot, food crumbs in the drawers, and unclean areas around the edges of the bathroom. Another downside was the lack of a vacuum cleaner to clean up the inevitable sand, only a dustpan and brush were available.
